The transitional curriculum for existing majors to migrate to a CNIS degree is in the process of being reviewed by the curriculum committee and the faculty senate.

We expect it to be approved in by November 15.

After that, it would become a program that would exist in ARC and you can determine your course needs.

As this will not be in the advising system until after the registration period for next term, you can base your registration on the proposed curriculum.

The proposed transitional curriculum for existing Computer Networking majors and Information Security majors is given on the following pages.

Curriculum are given based on former major (NET or SEC) and starting year (05 or 06).

The curriculum for this year is given and many of you are already taking a version of the transitional curriculum.

The course sequence probably does not match everyone’s sequences, but does indicate the course that need to be taken.
