Instruction Sessions
-

Faculty may arrange for a librarian to meet with their class to provide an instruction session on how to find and use resources that will be useful for projects in the course. This type of "course-integrated" instruction is typically quite useful because the instruction occurs at the time that students need it, and relates that instruction to projects or assignments in the course.

Faculty should contact Paula Olsen (865-6486 or olsen@champlain.edu) as early as possible (at least a week in advance) to discuss what kind of instruction will be most helpful for students in their course. If the electronic classroom in the Miller Information Commons is available, instruction can be scheduled there; if not, instruction can take place in the classroom where the course usually meets.
