1. Type the list of yields from page 128 into column 1 of the Sample Editor of STATDISK
2. Click Data then Boxplot to evaluate column 1 to get the screen at the right.
3. The numeric values of the 5-numbers are listed in the table and indicated on the boxplot.

In the case of the corn seeds, the middle 50% of the yeilds are between 1,511 and 2,060 pounds of head corn per acre, a very important piece of information for farmers.
